digital exhibitions

Online exhibitions use the primary sources available in the California State University Japanese American Digitization Project to tell the story of the Japanese American experience during the 20th century and beyond.

They make the archival materials discoverable, accessible and understandable by showing how they fit into the broader historical context. Intended to introduce users to a variety of pertinent topics and personal stories, digital exhibitions can engage users in the critical analysis of primary sources to better understand how they can be used as evidence, supplement teaching, and stimulate learning.
